Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a decentralized naming system on Ethereum. It allows users to register human-readable names like "yourname.eth" for their wallet addresses, making transactions simpler and more personal.
Similar to how websites use domain names instead of IP addresses, ENS provides a secure and decentralized way to address resources both on and off the blockchain. It allows users to not only simplify transactions, but also establish unique identities, register subdomains, sell domains, and set up decentralized websites.
